| When I arrived at Narconon I was lost. E.C. When I arrived at Narconon I was lost. I had used drugs for almost seven years. I did not know what direction my life would go in of if I even wanted to go on at all. When I walked in the door, and for the first time in a while, I felt safe. I didn't have to worry about when and how I was going to get my next fix. It felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Going through the program was not easy but as I finished each step I became more and more satisfied with who I was becoming. By doing TR's (training routines) I got in my confront, something I never had. By doing them I finally formed some confidence and self esteem. The sauna did wonders for both my mind and body and while I was in there I picked up the habit of running which is now my religion. I also gained the knowledge through doing the books on who I wanted to become and the steps I had to take to reach that point. Today I look in the mirror and I have become that person because I have learned to apply the information that I have gotten through the Narconon program.
